Fans have more friends
What happens when you put two rival fans in the same room but strip away every reference to their respective teams? Heineken’s social experiment, “Fans Have More Friends”, proves that what unites football enthusiasts is far stronger than the shirts they wear.
At Disc To Disc, we had the pleasure of handling the audio post-production for this international project, working closely with the teams at Prodigious and Stink Films. The technical challenge was to preserve the spontaneity and realism of the reactions throughout the experiment. We focused on a meticulous mix that enhanced every nuance of the dialogue and atmosphere, finding the perfect balance with the soundtrack.
The audio needed to be transparent and “human,” leaving room for the authentic emotion of an encounter that begins between strangers and ends between new friends. It’s the kind of project that reminds us why we love what we do: giving a voice (and a sound) to stories that break down prejudices, one toast at a time.
