Bigfoot, Ice Cream and Sound Design
“Niente batte l’originale” (Nothing beats the original). The new campaign for Lavazza A Modo Mio capsules focuses on authenticity and chooses an ambassador who knows a thing or two about being original: Jannik Sinner. The advert plays on an ironic, meta-advertising approach, where the tennis champion imagines the brand’s new commercial alongside Luigi, a little robot with a great passion for Italian espresso.
At Disc To Disc, we handled the online audio for the project. Working alongside such a dynamic narrative means balancing the tones: on one hand, Jannik’s natural delivery; on the other, the inevitably ‘digital’ and charming identity of Luigi the robot—without forgetting to acoustically highlight the real star, the coffee.
We made sure that every line, every pause, and every sound detail hit the mark, ensuring a flawless final mix ready for TV and digital broadcasting. A fresh and fun project, the exact equivalent of a good coffee at just the right time.
