L'Amore, in teoria
L’amore, in teoria: When feelings don’t follow the equation
Is there a mathematical formula for falling in love? In theory, yes; but in practice—and especially in Luca Lucini’s new comedy—the variables quickly go haywire. “L’amore, in teoria” takes us into the world of Gen Z, navigating university exams, community service, and that peculiar confusion that arises when you try to explain the heart through logic.
Produced by Indiana Production and distributed by Vision Distribution, the film is a fresh, visually polished narrative, enriched by Tananai’s original tracks which set the perfect pace for the protagonists’ romantic mishaps.
For Disc To Disc, working on this project was an exercise in sonic balance. The challenge in audio post-production was to preserve the naturalness of the dialogue and the freshness of the performances, crafting an urban sound design that acted as a counterpoint to the pop soundtrack. The result is a warm, intimate atmosphere that captures the raw honesty of a story about growth and emotional maturity.
Special thanks to the whole team at Indiana Production for their trust. In the end, theory doesn’t count for much; what remains is the emotion of a good mix.
